Categories of Applicants
There are five different categories of applicants within TAM. These categories are Active Applicants, Inactive Applicants, Non-Applicants, Archived Non-Applicants, and Incomplete Applicants.
Active Applicants
Active Applicants are candidates that have completed your requirements for applying to an open position in your organization. These applicants may be in any workflow step and are currently being considered for the position.
Inactive Applicant
Inactive Applicants are candidates that are no longer in the running to be hired for the position. These candidates are applicants whom may have failed the pass/fail questions during the prescreening phase of the application process, applicants that have failed a certain step in the workflow by the hiring manager, or any applicants that have been red flagged. You have the option of hiding the inactive applicants on the applicant's table for faster load times.
Non-Applicant
Non-Applicants are candidates that have expressed an interest in working at your company but have not specified a specific position to apply for. By default, applicants that provide unsolicited resumes and employment applications are considered non-applicants. When uploading an applicant's resume through the Talent Pool > Upload Resume function, if the "Assign to position" is not specified, then the applicant would automatically be placed in the non-applicant pool. Archived Non-Applicant
Archived Non-Applicants are non-applicants that are no longer being considered. Archiving removes them from your view and therefore speeds up loading of your Non-Applicant table.
Incomplete Applicant
TAM considers an applicant as "incomplete" until they have finished all aspects of your application process. For a more in-depth look at incomplete applicants, please click here.
