Task List / Pending Items
TAM supports a combined Task List and Pending Items list as one of the optional widgets you can display on your Desktop (details on enabling desktop widgets are here).
If you are using TAM's online employment application, or our third-party integrations for background checks, reference checks, or personality assessments, TAM will create a pending item on your desktop. This item will remind you that you're waiting for an applicant to complete a process, or for a process concerning the applicant to be completed. Once the process is complete the item will be removed from your desktop.
In addition tasks can be created and assigned from our Triggers feature, based on events happening in the TAM workflow.
- TAM will automatically load active tasks only. If you need to view a completed task just click here.
- New tasks can be created by clicking here.
- To edit any task click here.
- All TAM table functions are available. You can show/hide columns, drag column titles to rearrange, and export to .xls, csv., etc.
- Manage tasks will open the menu shown below. This menu is only available to administrators or other users given that access.
- You can display only your tasks or all users' tasks (if you are an admin).
- All tasks are automatically archived after 30 days from start. You can change that period here.
- Requests for applicants to complete employment applications are automatically archived after 14 days, which you can change as needed.
- Any time an applicant is closed any tasks associated with that applicant are archived. You can turn that feature off if desired.
You can also create tasks/reminders yourself and assign them to yourself or another user. Tasks can be created from three different locations: 1) by the New Task button on the table, 2) under Hi <yourname>!, New Task (this selection can be accessed from any page in TAM), or 3) from the "pushpin" icon on an applicant's page. When creating a task on an applicant's page you can attach that task to the applicant's record.
- Name of the task is required, all other fields are optional.
- You may specify a due date/time. Tasks which are past their due date will be highlighted in red on the table.
- You may assign the task to any TAM user.
- Marking Important will place a red flag on the table for easy identification.
