TAM's New Look!

We're excited to announce a new look for TAM! All your features and functionality are exactly the same as before, but with a cleaner, more modern appearance. Here's a list of differences to check out, followed by some FAQs:

  1. Top Navigation Bar
    1. Now reflects Top Echelon's branding/colors, and logo at the upper left
      1. Your company logo is still stored in TAM and appears as it always has on your Careers Page and Job Pages
    2. Navigation Menu
      1. Desktop, Setup, Admin, Positions, and Talent Pool navigation menus are exactly the same - only their appearance is updated - hover over each item to see the links to each sub-section
    3. Your Company Name now appears in the top navigation - to the right of the main navigation items

      1. For organizations with Multi Company configurations, the name in the top navigation will reflect which company you're currently logged into

        Settings & Help Center items are now divided between these two icons - hover over each to see the links they contain:

      2. The Settings "gear" icon now contains:
        1. My Settings
        2. New Task
        3. Logout
      3. The Help "question bubble" icon now contains all other Settings & Help Center links:
        1. Knowledge Base
        2. Hiring Manager's Guides (short and long versions)
        3. Webinars
        4. About TAM
        5. Contact Us

    4. The TAM News notification "bell" icon should look familiar, but it now appears between the Settings and Help icons

    5. The "quick find" search bar (for finding applicants by name or contact info) is in the same place at the upper right, and sports a clean new look

  2. Positions Table and Talent Pool (Applicant) tables
    1. Your Positions Table and Talent Pool tables are now contained in a scrollable frame, so that the top navigation menu will remain visible as you scroll horizontally and/or vertically across tables that are wider or taller than your screen size. So, when you're ready to navigate somewhere else from any table, you won't have to scroll all the way back to find the navigation menu
  3. All Other Pages
    1. Every page you navigate to retains all its original functionality, but with cleaner layouts, sleeker scrollbars, and more

FAQs

  1. Where is my company logo?
    1. Your company logo is still stored in TAM, and displays as normal on all external-facing pages, like your Careers Page, individual Job Pages, and Employment Applications. Navigate to Positions > Careers Page to see your current logo.
      1. As always, if you need to update your logo, please email us at support@theapplciantmanager.com, so we can assist.
  2. Where is my Talent Pool, Positions Table, etc?
    1. As described above, most navigation items in the top navigation bar are exactly the same as before. Simply hover your mouse over Setup, Admin, Positions, & Talent Pool to see all your usual navigation links - their names and placement have not changed.
    2. Settings & Help Center navigation items are now found under the Settings "gear" and Help "question bubble" icons. Hover over each icon to see the links.
  3. Why did you make these changes?

    1. One of most consistent items of user feedback over the years has been "We love TAM, but it looks old!" We heard you, and we've made some changes to give TAM a more modern look and feel, and to improve navigation. Additionally, after Top Echelon acquired TAM in 2020, it was also finally time to bring TAM's appearance in-line with Top Echelon's brand, so we took the opportunity to accomplish both things at once.
