Posting to Monster
Update: As of 5/19/17, Monster no longer maintains a free, organic job board on its main site (Monster.com). Your free, organic postings will still appear on Jobs.com, which is maintained by Monster. Please follow these instructions to post a paid ad on Monster.
To setup TAM to push your sponsored positions to Monster, follow these steps:
- Contact your Monster Representative for the following
- Request your Real-Time Posting credentials or update your existing account to support Real-Time job Posting.
- Request that "job specific -Custom Apply inventory" be added to your account.
- Check your current job posting inventory types, durations, levels and purchase additional inventory if needed.
- Navigate to Setup, Job Boards and select the option under Monster for "Ask me every time I open a new position whether or not to post it to Monster" to enable posting.
- Enter your RTP username and password and select the appropriate Industry code for your company.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.
You will now have the option every time you create a new position to have TAM automatically post it to Monster. At the bottom of the Create Position page simply click on "Post this position to Monster" and fill in the required information.
When you Open & Post this position it will be sent to Monster. It may take up to an hour to be processed and posted on the Monster site. This position will be posted by Monster for 30 days or until you fill/close the position in TAM. You may put this position on hold and then reopen it any time during those 30 days without incurring additional charges from Monster. If you open this position after the 30 day period Monster will charge you for an additional posting.
You will be charged directly by Monster for this posting at your company rate. TAM is not part of the billing process, it simply sends the posting to Monster for you.
