Blind / Confidential Postings

A blind/confidential position is a position where the job posting does not specify who the hiring company is.  This is sometimes useful for posting a sensitive position, when you don't want anyone to know you have this position open.*

To make a job confidential simply check the appropriate box on the Create/Edit Position page, then click Save.

The Confidential setting will remove your company name and logo from the TAM Job Page, but will retain the position's title and location.

*TAM will attempt to push confidential postings out to any job boards you have selected on the Create/Edit Position page, but we have found that some organic (free) job boards will not accept confidential postings as they require a company name in order to post. Confidential jobs usually have to be posted to the paid version of a job board.  You can still manually post to any job board.

Note: In particular, Indeed will not post organic/free Blind/Confidential jobs from any ATS, including TAM. Selecting the Indeed sponsored post option from within TAM will not cause Indeed to post your Confidential jobs. In order to post a Confidential job on Indeed, you must do so manually via your Indeed account, and the job will have to be sponsored.

Please note that checking the boxes for your Internal and External Careers pages is the only to control which page your job will appear on. Simply marking a job Confidential does not remove it from your Careers page if either of those options stays selected. Make sure to de-select both if you'd like a Confidential job not to appear on your Careers page.

TIP:  Don't forget to check the text in your posting to be sure that you have eliminated any language that refers to your company.

Lastly, here is the message that will pop up after an applicant successfully applies to a blind/confidential position, "As this is a confidential posting we cannot reveal the company name, but your information has been submitted and you have applied for this position."
