Using the Proximity Search feature
If the applicant’s physical address is available, TAM can display their location on a map, giving you a sense of their distance from the position they applied for.
This feature is usually requested and activated during implementation. If you don't see the option on TAM and would like to use it, please contact support@theapplicantmanager.com.
If this feature is activated and you don't see the map or proximity on the applicant table, the proximity on the applicant page or a proximity search on the advanced search page, you can turn this feature on by following these steps:
- Under Setup at the top menu, choose Advanced.
- Under Applicant Mapping, choose any or all of the options provided.
There is a separate article on Proximity and straight-line Distance Searches which gives more details on how to use this feature once it's enabled.
NOTE: All distances provided by TAM are "straight-line" or "as the crow flies". Driving distances may vary significantly from this measurement.
