Sending TAM data to BambooHR

TAM interfaces with BambooHR's HRIS software such that you can transmit new hire data from TAM to Bamboo.

To setup this integration you need to obtain your Bamboo account user name and your API key.  To do this, log in to your Bamboo account and generate an API Key by clicking on your "Account" icon in the top-right of the screen and then selecting "API Keys" from the dropdown.

In TAM go to Setup > Add-on Tools / Integrations and click on Configuration. Enter your Bamboo information here, then click Save.

Once we setup your integration you will then see the Bamboo icon on each applicant's page.  Clicking on this icon will allow you to transmit that applicant's data to Bamboo, which will create a new employee record.

The following data will be sent:

  • FirstName
  • LastName
  • Full Address
  • Email
  • Phone #
  • Job Title
  • Hire Date- this will be set to the date you send the data to Bamboo, you can of course change it in Bamboo

You will receive a response within a few seconds as to whether the transfer was successful.
